From July to November, foreign debt of more than 5 billion dollars was taken, report


The government has released the details of external loans obtained in the first 5 months of the financial year.

According to the report of Economic Affairs Division, more than 5 billion dollars was taken from July to November, which is 4872 million dollars more than the same period of the last financial year.

According to the report, one billion 16 billion dollars were received from the IMF, the Asian Development Bank gave a loan of one billion 67 million dollars, while the World Bank gave a loan of 538 million dollars.

Officials say that during this period, 582 million dollars were received as loans from different countries, Saudi Arabia provided 50 million dollars for the oil facility, while China provided 549 million dollars.
